1. February is African Heritage Month

2. This February SRB will participate in the annual Coins for Books Campaign sponsored by Tattletales Book Store.  SRB will benefit from the funds we raise to buy shiny new books for our school library.  Stay tuned for news on upcoming Coins for Books activities!

3. Just reminder that when there are afterschool sports here at the school, students are not permitted in the school until 15 minutes prior to the start of the games unless accompanied by an adult.  There should be no one hanging out in the building afterschool. This includes in the bathrooms, in the gym or in the front lobby until 15 minutes before game start.

4. The girls basketball team have their make-up quarterfinal game against John Martin next Wednesday Feb 19th at 4pm. The girls have a practice Tuesday after school until 3:30.

5. The boys basketball team have their semi-final game at Caledonia Tuesday Feb 18th at 4pm. The boys have a practice today after school.

6. There will be a Floorball team practice at lunch today

7. Oval skating trip and Ski Martock permission forms and money are due to Ms Robertson ASAP. Remember we must have 7 more students sign up for the Martock trip in order to go! Oval trip info: Students can bring there own helmets and skates. Students must wear a helmet on the ice but the oval provides skates and helmets free of charge if necessary!
